The Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) are committed to providing ongoing developmental supports for our registered client enterprises. Our 1-2-1 mentoring programme is designed to address specific issues, areas of expertise, or advice you require in order to grow and develop your craft enterprise. DCCoI mentoring has a number of distinct aspects :
Craft mentors with specific expertise in a range of disciplines are available to provide technical advice
Business mentors, (in association with the Local Enterprise Offices), provide a full range of business supports available in the 31 LEO areas.
Design mentors to assist with product design, production capacity, innovation and new technologies.
Mentors skilled in Export and Digital Marketing

Before making an application you are encouraged to explore the BUSINESS section and the IDEAS section of this website to see if the type of advice you need is available on-line.
If not we ask that you examine your needs objectively and clearly to establish the type of mentoring you require and your expectations should your application be successful. Please complete the application form fully including images of your product range and business plan if available. Successful applicants pay €60 towards the costs of each mentoring assignment.
