I have over 30 years experience in the fashion industry. In 2015, I diversified from producing bridal and bespoke, into delivering a full service to the Irish fashion industry, developing prototypes for designers and where required, taking the prototypes into retail ready small production runs.
I have extensive technical skills, a deep knowledge of garment construction and in particular pattern cutting, grading (sizing) and fabric characteristics. My manufacturing experience allows me to collaborate with designers to develop a production ready prototype including materials, trimmings and techniques. The prototype then moves into production by my hand picked team, which I oversee to ensure cost effectiveness, quality and consistency.
TRAVELLER HEALTH CARE PROGRAMME 2011

Project focussed on documenting stories from local Traveller folklore and history and then teaching the group the necessary craft and sewing skills to turn the information into a wall hanging reflecting travelling life and culture.
