I work across commercial and creative fields, from the conceptual development and delivery of major events to creative editorial styling. I work closely with Irish designers, advertising agencies, retailers and international commercial brands, presenting a visual image through styling and fashion. My experience extends to working in London and New York and includes fashion week shows in both cities. I actively feature established and emerging Irish designers in my editorial work for both national and international publications. I am co-founder and editor of THREAD magazine, which celebrates and supports the amazing talent that Ireland is producing in the world of fashion.
My work as a stylist for Irish and international brands over the last ten years has given me an extensive knowledge of the fashion industry, in particular from an Irish perspective. I am actively engaged with Irish fashion from education through emerging design to established industry. In my role as Fashion and Textiles Advisor to Irish Design 2015, I provided mentoring to a wide range of Irish fashion design businesses. My mentoring experience is relevant to contemporary fashion business and fashion designers.
